a new adaptation of “GHOSTS” by Ibsen; set in Jamaica, 1982.

Cast:
Mrs.
Andrews: mid to late 40’s widow (Jamaican accent)
Barrington: 28, her son (Jamaican accent)
Pastor Mattison, middle-aged white or Asian American man
JaBingy: 50+year-old Rastafarian (heavy Jamaican accent)
Carmella Bingy: early 30’s (heavy Jamaican accent)
Three ORPHAN children: mixed races, must read young (Jamaican accent)
All must prepare a contemporary or classical 2 min monologue.
Orphans must also prepare a cappella song (Jamaican accent).
Rehearsals: September 11 through October 1, 2006, Mon-Fri: 6:30

the initial years of the AIDS epidemic. This timeless
drama takes you deep within the Jamaican culture on a
provocative and emotional journey.
