"The Black Doctor" is a workshop production of a timeless love story centering around the universal themes of racial equality, cultural wars, and the freedom to openly love outside of one’s race.

As original concept, this progressive adaptation of Ira Aldridge classic play will incorporate elements of physical theater and various elements of post Hurricane Katrina as it is juxtaposed against Paris, France during the French Revolution.
